if i go half throttle till i see 10 psi then floor it it will hold boost and go up to 15psi.
if i just floor it it will spike to 7 psi then drop to 5 psi and stay there for the whole rev range

Its so Depressing Sad

It sounds very much like a boost leak to me. Check EVERY hose in the system and then check again. Tighten EVERY hoseclamp.
When you give it a punch, you may be opening up leak that is not so apparent when at half throttle and a gradual increase brings on the 2nd turbo? It also sounds like a 2nd turbo 'not coming on-line' problem. 'BMWturbo' may be able to add some suggestions?

It will be a simple fix, but not so easy to find straight away.

That seems like a good price though, delivered?

I haven't touched my coil packs, but I did change my leads over.

It will all work out fine mate.

Hey mate. I had a very similar issue with my old 147(now have a 161) and the first VSV was stuft. When you blew into it it was leaking. But when the second one came on it was fine. Check that. Its the top one closest to the front of the car. Very easy to check. Might be worth a shot.

Not cheap. Nervous

When you add it all up, not much change from $5k really.

Seeing that I paid $5k for the car, it is worth it I think.
