Thinking of going to a dark tint, either 15% or 20%. Have a pearl white but not too sure if the contrast is going to be too stark.

Any aristo owners that have similar % tints & have photo's any chance you could post them up or even a link.?

I know black / silver cars suit dark tints but its hard trying to picture what the risto looks like with dark tint. Some cars get a cheap look about them when tinted too much. Confused

Cheers..

Pearl white is a tough one though... most of the blokes with that colour don't like dark tints hahaha
I assume it's the stock pearl white that comes on two-tones etc?

If it's white-white like repainted, then yes dark tints are porn. But when you go off-shades, it can look a bit over the top.

Personally, I had ~22% on my first car and it just wasn't dark enough. Went to ~17% or so on this one and it's much better. But they were both black cars.

yep all over pearl white but not off white Suprised . Although the lower half of two doors on one side of the car looks like it has been resprayed, but in a more off white then the rest of the car.

No one have Aristo pics with dark tints..

So rusty, you think 15% would be the go over 20% Confused

Oh it's very white!!
Yeah mate, lower was a good option!! haha.. get rid of the orange/yellow in the indicators too =)

Tints.. 15-20% will look fine imo. You won't have to worry about it looking 'too dark' if your car is that white.

Agreed Do it!! Tint will really set it off. You'll wonder why you waited so long once you've got it done. Just watch going too dark. They can be a bitch to see out of at night.

yeah it's not as super white as the pics but I would say more white then off white.

Thinking I will give 15% a go all round, not to keen on the lighter front side windows then darker rear side windows, rather keep it the same. Possibly go 20% rear window so I can see when reversing.

Worst problem is the barge is quickly turning into a rolling defect Nervous

then keep it legal!!!

if u go even semi-sleeper, you wont get defected...mines 80mm off the ground, but it still looks high, so cops dont know its stupid low...havent been questioned bout it....FMIC, black...hidden, exhaust...u gotta make up some smart shit like me....but officer, it retains the stock cats and doesnt exceed DB limits...(thats wat i used...i even told him it still has the stock mufflers...) tint, go 20%, a white/black car makes tint look darker than it really is...it does, so when u tell 5-0 that they should believe u....gauges...dont need them sticking out on the dash, go stealth, chuck it in the cig lighter area!! pod inside factory airbox....easy as...

if you go big single, thats a bit harder, but as long as its all tidy n shit, you can squirm outta it pretty easy!! (but officer, nobody would rebuild the stock turbos as they cant source the parts, labour was quoted @ 6k just to fix them and put them back on, this single setup makes the same power, and, retains all the stock emissions devices...it complies to the ADR's!!)

Didn't realise gauges & boost controller's, FMIC were defect items.

Was more talking along the lines of ride height, lack of cat convertors, exhaust DB levels soon to be topped off with tint Razz

Will have a chat with the tinter regards 15% 20 % tints

yea, distractions from the road, removal of front reo bar/modification to it(even if it hasnt been touched to install a FMIC) anything that isnt factory fitted or ADR compliant(fitted and certified by an engineer!)
