Not sure if this has been brought up B4, but i do see many questions about the OE shifter and people asking if there is any others on the market. Well I have found one maybe others have too. But Id thought I show my findings online.
The shifter is a Long style comes in chrome with, black, wood or CF.
Its Universal and has a in built OverDrive Button "Yes a OD Button on Knob itself"
Not Cheap @ $185 from only known Aussie supplier probably cheaper O/S
thats actually not a bad looking one ay. do wires need cutting or just plug in. agree that 180 is a bit steep though for just a knob
is that a pic of your car?? hitting switches for the bitches much
no this isn't my car as I said got pikkies from google. After much searching online through forums and threads i found this.
Yes wires for the OD button are cut and re spliced, also a small plastic adapter is added on top to allow the new Top push button to work. and its all held on by 1 grub nut.
The CF one looks pretty good. Im still not convinced that i want one, but I am still thinking of attempting the gated shifter conversion from a UFC20 Ive seen a guide on how to remove the top half of the celsior unit and mate it to the bottom plate of the Aristo shifter floor unit not hard, but is time consuming.
These are cheap, solid and ORSM. But are like liquid hot magma on a summers day. and scratch up easy for guys with bling rings on the fingers eg me!!! pimp daddy one or two for every finger
since all members on this site have predominantly auto boxes and now a few 5spd r154's in our cars i say we should ban jamie with his showoff 6spd piece of crap
lol im having trouble getting 200 odd for a safc tune and you are talking about 5k...... from the pic above im guessing you are going same route? _________________
