Not sure if this has been brought up B4, but i do see many questions about the OE shifter and people asking if there is any others on the market. Well I have found one maybe others have too. But Id thought I show my findings online.

The shifter is a Long style comes in chrome with, black, wood or CF.

Its Universal and has a in built OverDrive Button "Yes a OD Button on Knob itself"

Not Cheap @ $185 from only known Aussie supplier probably cheaper O/S

Links to Buy the Shifter

here is some pictures I pinched off google some are from Aristo/GS300 some are from Soarer either way it fits. *(with some modifying)

I do have the installation guide in word .doc format if anyone is interested Razz Razz

no this isn't my car as I said got pikkies from google. After much searching online through forums and threads i found this.

Yes wires for the OD button are cut and re spliced, also a small plastic adapter is added on top to allow the new Top push button to work. and its all held on by 1 grub nut.

The CF one looks pretty good. Im still not convinced that i want one, but I am still thinking of attempting the gated shifter conversion from a UFC20 Ive seen a guide on how to remove the top half of the celsior unit and mate it to the bottom plate of the Aristo shifter floor unit not hard, but is time consuming.

I see what you mean by scratch easy, this one is brand new and already got marks from taking it out of the packet.

Nah not yet, got a few other things to sort out before going down that route.

I just made sure to buy one of the knobs before they went out of production like other greddy items of late.

I used to have one of these on my celica and yeah gotta watch where you park, but then again good luck to anybody trying to steal it in the summer.
